The new Construction Campus in Diepenbeek has the ambition to become the center for innovation in the construction sector." So says Professor Mieke Vandenbroucke of Hasselt University in the latest episode of Sustainable Limburg. The Construction Campus 2.0, where companies and researchers will work together, should make our region a leader in digital and circular construction. The idea is to make the sector more sustainable. One way to do this is by working more with bio-based building materials, which are made from renewable raw materials and consist entirely or partly of biological substances.
